Newton-Wellesley Hospital’s
HEAL Committee (Helping Educate After Loss) will soon offer
support groups to families who have suffered the death of a
child before birth, at birth or shortly after birth.
Newton-Wellesley Hospital
Childbirth Loss Support Groups will offer an opportunity for
individuals and couples to heal their hearts and rebuild their
lives. Our groups offer the comfort and mutual reassurance
that can only come from those who have had a similar loss.
Through the guidance of Andie
Insoft, L.I.C.S.W., a licensed social worker and skilled
clinical leader, these meetings will provide a safe shelter
and the support necessary to heal from the grief experience.
The group will also provide information, education, and
resources.
This service is available to
families free of charge and is supported by the Hospital’s
HEAL Committee.
